It's summer time in Houston which means it's HOT! But the heat does not mean that the pictures must stop! I'm having so much fun this year with all the things I get to photograph. Here's another sneak peek for you to show you what I've been up to the past few weeks.

I know you haven't seen Maddy in a while so here she is. Yes you're seeing correctly...she's got a mouth full of teeth coming in! She knows they're there too. She likes to grind her teeth, chew on furniture, and bite...especially bite me!

I don't think that there's really one wedding season in Houston. Sometimes the whole year feels like one big wedding season. I'll say that it's definitely spring wedding season and summer's season is just around the corner! I've been super busy and for those of you who take the time to follow my blog, first I'd like to say, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Second, instead of posting an entire event right now (because it's about 3AM and I just finished working on some stuff) I thought I'd put together a handful of sneak peeks.

The past month or two, I've had something of everything on my calendar lately - weddings, babies, boudoir, bridals. Here's just a sprinkling of some Love Lee Photography. Enjoy :)

There's a Filipino tradition (at least in my Filipino family) to have a roasted pig at extra special family occasions. Madeline's baptism counted as one of them. My brothers and I all have pictures just like this one from when we were babies. I wish I had them with me so I could post them! Here's Maddy's first "lechon" picture for our family collection.

Hello my Love Lee readers! Meet Matthew. If you look up "CUTE" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of him (next to my Madeline, of course! LOL!) His mom, Tiffany, contacted me last month for some portraits for his upcoming 1st birthday. Matthew is just like my daughter - he's a super happy baby that loves to smile for the camera! He was such a good boy - so sweet, so charming, and the perfect model :) When you meet Tiffany and her husband, Mark, and see them with their son, the first thing that comes to your mind is, "This is one beautiful and happy family." I mean the love they have for each other is so natural and it just radiates in every image! I hope you like the pictures because I had soooo much fun taking them!

Just because there's one cute baby in the post, doesn't mean there can't be another, right? Maddy and my husband, Edmond, accompanied me on another family photo shoot over the weekend (I can't wait to show you those pics either!). Here she is sitting in the car, waiting for Edmond to get her in her stroller. She looked so cute holding her one finger up and smiling! I couldn't help myself with the caption. It cracks me up every time I look at it!

Wow what a busy month for Love Lee! But it's been all worth it because I've had a great time shooting some fun weddings. I've also been shooting some great family portrait sessions!

First off let me leave you with some sneak peeks! Melissa and Derek had a charming ceremony at the Heritage Society in downtown Houston. They topped it off with a spectacular reception at the Majestic Metro. Highlights of the night: the Beatles tribute band, the jello shot groom's cake, and the greatest group sing-along to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing!" Lisa and Ben's sweet ceremony was followed by a Midsummer Nights Dream themed reception at the University of St. Thomas. Highlights of the night: An awesome re-enactment of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video, two little kids re-enacting the couple's first dance, the greatest group sing-along to Miley Cyrus's "Party in the USA!" Two super fun weddings!

Finally let me introduce you to the Kolle's. Joana and I have been BFF's since we were 13 years old, so of course when she asked me to photograph her family, I said, "Absolutely!" She and her husband, Bracken, have been married over ten years already and if you ever met them, you'd swear they were still newlyweds! They've got the greatest kids too. Bell (who I have the honor of calling my goddaughter) and Brice who are some of the greatest kids I know!
And of course...my baby love! She was sleeping like this when I took this picture. I wonder what she was dreaming of. LOL!
