I am proud to announce that I am participating in Images for a Cure (IFAC) this year! Images for a Cure is a wonderful opportunity for you to help me raise funds for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

What is Images for a Cure? Images for a Cure is a fundraising effort started by KristenWeaver and a group of passionate photographers who are motivated to make a difference. We are daughters, sisters, husbands and fathers. We are roommates, best friends and soul mates. We are photographers with a passion for giving back. In November 2010, we will unite our talents to contribute one day of session fees in support of breast cancer research. 100% of all session fees collected on this date will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. We are hopeful, that with your support we will find a cure in our lifetime.

You can help raise  money AND get some beautiful photos: I'll be offering on-location, 30 minute mini-sessions on Sunday, November 14. The session fee is a minimum $100 (you are welcome to donate more) and 100% will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Donations are not refundable.

You will receive a CD with 10 high resolution images and a Limited Reproduction Release for you to print where ever you wish. Only 5 mini-sessions will be available and times will fill up fast, so please contact me as soon as possible to book your session.

My goodness what a GORGEOUS day it was in Houston today! What made it even better was meeting up with my friends from Blush and Glow. Anita and her husband Alx are expecting a baby boy in March! They had a special ceremony today called a Godh Bharai, which is basically a baby shower with a special ceremony. Anita's fellow beauty expert at Blush and Glow, Artee, was also in attendance. Alx is her brother. I can tell Artee is really excited to be an auntie :) Another excited future auntie is Anita's baby sister, Renita. Everyone looked beautiful and happy and I'm so glad I got to capture this for Anita and Alx. People, I always thought Anita was beautiful, but seeing her today...she's stunning!

Madeline and my husband came along for the ride today. Let me just say that when you see my baby, you just want to squeeze her. Especially her cheeks! Look...I can see my reflection in her big, beautiful brown eyes!
