Meet Diana and Ernie. We met up on MLK Day for some engagement pictures in the downtown area. We got off to a late start because of the parade, but it's alright because we actually ended up spending a couple hours together. We were just having too much fun! As I was shooting, I kept thinking, "Man Diana sure does have a serious case of the giggles!" But then I realized it was Ernie! He makes her laugh, he makes her smile, he makes her eyes dance when he looks at her. They're getting married next month at The Alden Hotel, one of my favorite places to shoot! Did I mention that Diana works for the girl scouts? Man I sure hope she has those cookies...ehem Tagalongs...at the wedding!
My baby girl is either gonna have expensive taste that mommy cannot afford, OR she just likes the lights! Here she is with grandma at the Galleria.

I met Charlie last year when her fabulous wedding coordinator, Sabrina Patrick of Chic Soiree, recommended me as a possible photographer for her wedding. That Sabrina really knows what she's doing because Charlie and I totally clicked when we met. Charlie is a no fuss kinda girl who knows exactly what she wants. I met up with her, her fiance Devin, and their cute schnauzer, Sweet Pea, for a fun and romantic engagement session in downtown earlier this week. Devin looked sharp and Charlie looked exceptional! Her hair and makeup by Blush and Glow was flawless. You know what I love about this couple? Everything they did just came naturally. From the kissing, to the cuddling and the laughing, it's almost as if I wasn't even there. Shoot, it's almost as if I needed to go away so I could give them some alone time! LOL! Well here are some of my favorites from their session. I can't wait to shoot their wedding at The House of Blues this summer!
And a happy half-birthday to my baby girl! She turned 6 months yesterday. For her half-birthday she had her shots. But I'm so proud of her! She only cried for a few seconds and then was back to her happy self. Here she is at grandma's house in her jumper.

The past two weekends have been absolutely fabulous! First I'd like to thank mother nature for giving us Houstonians AWESOME Cali-like weather the past month and a half! It has made my day and it certainly has made the days of these two couples: Nila & Krishna and Roslyn & Donny. I can't believe I forgot to show you all Madeline in her ladybug costume! Madeline is such a good baby. She didn't fuss at all about being in her cute little outfit. We had so much fun for her first halloween, spending it with family!

I met up with Roslyn and Donny in the museum district a couple of weeks ago. It was a chilly Sunday morning, but the skies were blue and clear and the sunshine was beautiful! We had so much fun! They claim that they're a non-PDA kinda couple who don't kiss much. I wasn't gonna let that fly during our session. Aren't they so cute? They're fun, sweet, goofy, and so in love and it shows! They're getting married this weekend and I can't wait to take more PDA pics of them ;)

I was so naive to think that having a baby wouldn't take that much more of my time. Boy was I wrong! But it's okay, because I love every single second I get to spend with my daughter. With that being said, I do have a growing list of things that I need to blog. In the meantime, here's a sneak peak of Roslyn and Donny's engagement session. Man we've been so lucky to have beautiful weather in Houston this October!
Madeline can't quite sit up on her own yet, but she tries! I got her a Bumbo and it's supposed to help her sit upright, but sometimes she just can't do it. My baby tries though!
