Nila and Krishna were married at The Petrolium Club of Houston a few months ago. It was so much fun watching the two of them enjoy their day. It was a day filled with lots of guests, lots of outfit changes, lots of traditions, and lots of dancing, drinking, and celebrating! Sonia with SRK Weddings and Events kept everything organized and flowing smoothly. DJ Yogi did a fantastic job of keeping the party going non-stop! It was a struggle not to put my camera down and start dancing with the crowd!

A special thanks to my good friend Julie Wilhite for helping me second shoot this one!

So all of a sudden Madeline can sit up on her own. Her bottom two teeth are coming in so she's constantly sucking on her gums and her bottom lip.  AND she can prop herself up on our living room ottoman. It's going by so fast!

Diana and Ernie were married in a beautiful Jewish ceremony this past weekend at the Alden. Diana was sooo nervous before her walk down the aisle, but as soon as she caught Ernie's heartfelt gaze, I could tell she knew this was one of the most perfect days of her life. Here is a sneak peek for you!

Because I work at home a lot, my main human interaction is with Madeline. Here we are playing school. I like to arrange her toys around her while she sits in her bumbo and pretend her stuffed toys are her classmates. LEE_1193.jpg

K wanted to do something different this year for Valentine's Day, something she'd never done before. She wanted to give her man a sexy gift that she was certain he would love. Well, I did get email confirmation from her that he LOVED them. I loved them too!

Now let's move from the sexy part of the post to the adorable part... Here's my Maddy with her sunflower headband. Of course, it looks more like bananas on her head. Don't be jealous because I get to pinch those cheeks everyday!

February 3, 2010 // bridals
Katie was a stunning bride. She married the love of her life, Cody, last month. A few weeks before the wedding, we met up at The Alden hotel for her bridal portraits. It was very cold outside, but Katie didn't mind braving the cold on the streets of downtown Houston. I love the details in her gown and I love that she had two veils for her wedding!

Now don't go thinking that because this is my second post of the night that I won't include another picture of my baby girl! Isn't she a cutie! This picture makes me want to pick her up and squeeze her! By the way, this image was taken using my new little lightscoop. It's this attachment for your pop-up flash (which the D700 has) that kinda redirects the harsh light.

Hey Margaret, just got the email for the Lyon Shop in Vegas and sadly won't make it to the dinner the night before so I just wanted to reach out to everyone and say HI and introduce myself! :) It will be my first year to WPPI! I absolutely love your work, the ones with the red light are so so so COOL! And your daughter is so adorable!! I love that you end each post with a picture of her! Hopefully we can talk more at the Lyonshop! YAY! -Kayleen
