I remember meeting Shaina at a bridal show in Houston last year. Her and her mom were super nice and very easy going. When you first meet her, Shaina is extremely sweet and extremely laid back. She's a no-fuss kinda girl. She was married earlier this month, but before the wedding we met up for a fabulous bridal session. I have one word to describe Shaina as a bride...Stunning! I can't wait to show you how much fun she and her husband Doug had at their wedding. First, I hope you enjoy some images from her bridal session!

Aviva and Jonathan had a romantic sunset wedding at the Barr Mansion in Austin, TX. The weather was perfect, the setting was golden, and their friends and family made sure that the evening was truly a night to remember.  The reception was filled with lots of dancing, lots of excitement, and lots of laughs. I have so many favorite images from this wedding. There were so many great details at this wedding, and for those of you who know me, I LOVE the details! If I didn't stop myself I'd probably have 100 slides to show you instead of the 25 slides here. Enjoy!

A few weeks ago I got to go to Austin, TX for Aviva and Jonathan's wedding. They actually live in New York, but Austin is where Aviva is from and it's also where she attended college. Since I only got to meet with them the day of their wedding, we planned to do their engagement session a few hours before all the festivities began. We met up at the UT Austin campus, Aviva's alma mater, and did a fun shoot at the school and then at the state capitol. It was really nice for them to get away for a while and just have fun. Planning a wedding can be hectic and the day of the wedding can be even more crazy, so I'm glad I got to sweep Jonathan and Aviva away for a few moments to enjoy just each other. I can't wait to show you their romantic sunset wedding! For now, here some images from our session. Enjoy!

If you've been keeping up with me on facebook, or if you've just seen me lately, you may already know that my hubby, Edmond, and I are expecting our first child in July. We're having a girl and her name is Madeline Olivia. Madeline is such a wonderful blessing and she's not even here yet! Our friends and family are so excited and I can't wait to introduce her to everyone. Emphasize on "I can't wait." Pregnancy feels like forever!

Edmond has been incredibly sweet and understanding through all my physical and, well, emotional changes. LOL! It's really true ladies...the hormones can wreak havoc on your mood and at times I find myself going psycho on Edmond for no reason. Thankfully, I'm blessed with a very patient husband who knows not to take it personal and just do what I say. Wait...he does that already! Hee hee!

Tonight we were at the drugstore picking up my prenatal vitamin prescription when we came across this Precious Moment bunny. I thought it was so cute! What's even better is that I let Edmond pick the crib bedding when we went baby shopping and the theme he picked happens to have bunnies on it. My husband bought it for me without question. When you squeeze it's tummy it recites the "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" prayer. Thanks love!

When I met Meredith and Bryan I knew right away they were going to be a lot of fun. We got together last Sunday for their engagement session in downtown Houston and ended up leaving with some cool recycled art! There was an Earth day festival going on at Discovery Green Park that we didn't know about. There was an artist there that had turned things like old window shutters and antique bed frames that were thrown out after Hurricane Ike into art. Meredith and Bryan found this cool piece with the famous Love sculpture logo on it. We used it as a prop for our pictures. After our session, sweet sweet Bryan bought the love art for his love, Meredith!

I had so much fun with them. We laughed, we danced and we played! I can't wait until their wedding this June! Enjoy!

Aunt Linda Kalister:

I love the pictures. They're so artistic and spontaneous in apprearance/ Not like everyone else's staged photos without any artistic flair. And Bty, you romantic, buying the art for Meredith is a story you'll have to share forever!

Aunt Paula:

You two look adorable! Linda's right, it looks so spontaneous and your love for each other radiates through each picture.
